My future job

My dream job that I would love to have in the future is being a filmmaker, well that’s why I’m studying film right now though. Thankfully my career offers an extensive variety of job departments where I can be part of it with different skills needed.

I personally would love to be part of the direction department or in the production department where I would definitely need to be very organized, responsible and proactive. But I would be so happy to work in any other film department even in a more technical work, because every part it’s so important and essential to make any kind of audiovisual work. And for that same reason I think the more important skill that every audiovisual artist need to have it’s the capacity to be a great team worker, because we are working with people that’s needs to be in the same page all the time.

On the other hand, I personally don’t care a little bit about money but my career, an in the future my job, demand a lot of money so I need to care about that anyway but at least I know that the salary and the gains in general will not be that much, and I’m in peace with that, I used to be pour.

Also, I know that this art form, like any other one, needs to be study and be in a constant improve over the years. And for that the best thing to improve over the years is making movies, but also doing different courses in the specialty that a would like to improve in that moment. That require a lot of money (so I would need to have other jobs) but the most important it’s to remember the passion that we have for this art form and why do we decide to study and work in this. For me, I always love films because it’s the art form where all the other art forms converge and combine, the art form that is more easily to arrive to different social classes, and the perfect platform where we can represent all the historically ignored groups and create a more diverse world.
